EWF PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

WHAT IS THE EWF PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM?

The EWF 2021-2022 mentorship program for finance professionals is designed to match interested mentors with professional women looking for guidance as they navigate through their careers. The program length is minimum 6 months with regular mentorship meetings starting in November 2021 (a monthly frequency is recommended).

Throughout the program, mentors and mentees will have opportunities to attend networking events (including a speed networking where participants could try to find their best mentorship match themselves), panel discussions, and skill building/learning sessions. Mentors will also have an opportunity to attend an appreciation event in Spring 2022 tentatively (and an opportunity to be spotlighted on our social media sites throughout the mentorship program).

We are proud that 2020-2021 program has resulted in 21 successful mentorship relationships, and this year EWF has partnered with MentorCanada, and incorporated feedback from last year’s program, to offer even better mentorship experience for both mentors and mentees. Please visit our EWF Blog to learn more about previous program participants.

Please read EWF mentorship program agreement before applying for the program: Agreement

Application for Mentors

Application for Mentees

Please note that applying for EWF Mentorship program doesn’t guarantee you a spot in the program. We will do our best to find a match for everyone, but depending on the number of applications submitted, there might be not enough mentors for everyone. We encourage you to answer all the application questions and attend the initial networking event as this will maximize our chances of finding you a match.

As this is a program run by volunteers, we ask all applicants to be respectful of their match’s time and commitment. Please let the program coordinators know in advance if you are unable to continue the mentorship relationship, for any reason. Failure to do so could result in removal from the mentorship program.
